On my photoblog the sidebar random pictures displays great in firefox 3 but in in Internet Explorer 7 each thumb is the right width just 1 or 2 pixels high. Can still click on them tho. ![]() Regards Tim Lester http://www.nuganics.com.au |

RE: Sidebar Widget 2.0 IE7 Display Problem
Nuganics Wrote:I haven't found a fix yet. Its not my theme as I tried the default theme and get the same result. Hopefully someone who knows more about php/sql reads this post and can offer a possible fix we can try. I just installed Wordpress 2.5, and the latest version of YAPB. Everything works great and I love the plugin, but I'm experiencing this problem as well. I've tried using the widget options to scale the thumbnails vertically, or both horizontally AND vertically instead of just the default horizontal option, but it doesn't work. I would really like to find a fix to this problem, as it's really the only bug I haven't been able to fix. It works fine in Firefox however. Anyone get this to work properly? Also, I've noticed this is happening on the front page of Johannes site as well. It's strange, because the first few times I visited the site for the plugin/widget downloads, it was appearing fine. |

RE: Sidebar Widget 2.0 IE7 Display Problem
I did some investigating, and it seems the for some reason the 'height' on the thumbnail parameter is NOT being set for the sidebar thumbnails...
" width="100" height="" alt= " That's straight from the source with the widget options set to to make both the height and width 100px. It seems there's a bug in the widget PHP itself. I'm no master programmer, if somebody could maybe take a look? Thanks. |

RE: Sidebar Widget 2.0 IE7 Display Problem
Ok guys, it's the same 'GUEST' that posted the last 2 posts in this thread.
I've figured it out, it's a simple TYPO in the widget code. Open 'YapbSidebarWidget.class.php' if your fav text editor. Hit CTRL+F to bring up the find feature, and copy paste : $item['imd.height'] = $yapbImage->getThumbnailHeight($thumb); change the imD.height, to imG.height Save. Done. Works 100%. There was just no height value set, firefox figured it out, IE didn't. As per normal Wordpress precautions, disable the plugin before editing. Happy Trails! |

RE: Sidebar Widget 2.0 IE7 Display Problem
Hello,
I have the YAPB Sidebar Widget 2.2 version installed on my YAPB site -and the YAPB XMLRPC Sidebar Widget 1.2 version at my non YAPB site, but the images still show up with 1 px height despite the fix. Safari and Mozilla look good, though. I looked for the typo but it was already corrected. Also, I happen to see this on IE 6.0.9 Any ideas of what might be wrong? Thank you, ziRta. |

RE: Sidebar Widget 2.0 IE7 Display Problem
I figured out why - it's on the server plugin:
YapbXmlrpcServer.class.php edit the imd.height there to img.height should be fine then ziRta Wrote:Hello, |
