I have a virgin page (photo-gal) i using this page like category and i want to have a tgp on it using u’re plugin.
This page is the mother of 10 other pages always using (page like caterogy) theme1, theme2, theme3, …
I want to display a random picture blok on the mother page with 100 pictures with a mix of all the child pages. And want to have 100 picture by page theme(1,2,3,…) with navigation for all the posts.
Can u explain me how can i do this please ?

I am trying to convert from a kludgy page system to something that all I have to do is upload, perhaps comment and done. I would like to show one group of photos in a folder at a time, accessing through a link, slideshow not required but having thumbnails of all of the photos showing required. See the galleries section of out existing website and all the other info available to see what I am trying to simplify. I have converted most everything to WP and I now at the point of including galleries and I am lost on how to proceed. Thanks for any help!!!

I still cannot get thumbnails size in the loop post set. What am I missing? Tried setting plugin options, tried using the code snippets on this page (getting parsing errors)…

Same for me. very frustrating… and the syntax is not right here either:

array(’w=450′,’fltr[]=usm|30|1.5|3′)

it should be:

array(’w=240′,’fltr[]=usm|30|0.5|3′)

besides that, great plugin! :-)

For what it’s worth, I’m having the same problem as Dee. Thumbnails in the sidebar make my previous and next buttons on the main page not work properly.

Thanks very much for creating this plugin.
I would love to have it work on a page template where I can specify the category id to have the related pages’ links and thumbnail displayed. Is that possible?

Hi Mirko -

In it’s default configuration, YAPB inserts the images into your theme *magically* ;-) You would have to disable the “automatic image insertion” feature and insert the mentioned YAPB code into your theme manually to have more control over the output.

Johannes, great and easy to set up template. One question that you have answered partially is that of the clickable index images.

Right now I’m trying to understand Wordpress and currently I’m using the default Kubrick theme. I can’t seem to make the index images clickable in any way. I’ve looked in all of that themes template files but can’t find a reference to any of the YAPB code. Is any other place that I should be looking?

Thanks for the great plugin. I am having an issue when it comes to paging. FOr some reasons when i have this plugin activated the paging doesnt seem to work on my blog. As soon as i deacivate it, everything works fine. Is there anything i am missing?

Gerade versuche ich das YAPB in ein neues Blog zu integieren, bisher mit Erfolg. Nur kriege ich es nicht hin, dass die quadratischen Thumbs nicht verzogen erscheinen, resp. dass sie nur aus einem Ausschnitt des Bildes generiert werden.

Ich seh bei ImageMagick nicht so durch, daher habe ich am Script nichts geändert.

Gibt es da eine einfache Lösung?

Danke für dieses spitzen PLugin :top:
Installation und Anpassung hat alles ohne Probleme geklappt, jedoch bin Ich grad am grübeln, wie man ein Random Beitrag bzw nur das Bild mit Link zu dem Beitrag in die Sidebar kriegt. Hab schon probiert ein Skript anzupassen, bin jedoch leider gescheitert.(Den Link zum Beitrag krieg Ich hin, das er jedoch ein bild mit anzeigt klappt nicht)

Gibt es evtl eine einfache Lösung?

In the section “And where are width and height?” I think you mean $post->image for width and height, not $post->img. It took me ten minutes of wondering why that code didn’t work until that hit me.
