JP Admin – Stylish Blue

294

WordPress 2.5 out with a new admin interface. By default you have the possibility to choose between two color schemes: Classic and Fresh. Am i the only one disliking both?

To be honest: I can’t stand the fresh theme and could live with classic – But i don’t want to live with a theme – i want to like it. So thanks to the know how, explanations and sample code of planetozh i were able to create my little brushup:

Oh great! Easy to do? Perhaps I am brain dead, it is late, after all. Well, can you email me please with some actual step by step instructions on how to use it? I can’t find a place to use it. The plugin is there, activated. If only my brain was.

PS: Know what would be a great practical joke, if you knew how to do it… instead of the “sum” captcha thing, use algebraic questions. ROTFL! (yet I can’t turn my admin blue)

Since WordPress 2.5, the Admin Interface may be altered on a per user basis – Just activate the plugin, go to your user settings and choose “Stylish Blue” as your new “Admin Color Scheme”. Btw. that’s exactly the same i wrote above ;-)

Greets from Salzburg!

I am unable to change the theme after activating the plugin. When I change to Stylish Blue and save updates, it stays with the Fresh theme. Any ideas?

I commented on 2008-04-30 21:47:37 that I have installed the plug-in and attempted to activate it on my profile page, but it won’t change from the Fresh theme. Any ideas?

[...] JP Admin Stylish Blue is a response to the washed out and wimpy classic blues of 2.5+ and creates a bold, almost-classic option.
